H.E President Hakainde Hichilema visits Heriot Watt.
H.E President Hakainde Hichilema visited our prestigious university Heriot Watt a few days ago and met with Chancellor Sir Geoff Palmer, First Minister Humza Yousaf, and Vice-Chancellor Professor Richard Williams.
Also in attendance at the University from Zambia were; Hon. Musokotwane – Minister of Finance and National Planning Hon. Kakubo – Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
President Hichilema delivered a keynote speech at the prestigious Panmure House, the home of the father of modern economics Adam Smith.
Heriot Watt Visits Zambia
During their visit to Zambia Professor Richard Williams and Professor Gillian Murray were met and welcomed by H.E President Hakainde Hichilema to discuss strengthening the University’s links with Zambia.
Also in attendance were some alumni and recent graduates from the Heriot-Watt MBA scholarship who participated in the discussion on collaborations/partnerships to foster economic growth in the different sectors of our economy such as Technology, Finance and Agriculture.
